Interim Findings

I’ve been using this for a few weeks now with some of my mice and I have had mixed results but I think it has more positives than negatives 🙂

What I have found is that some mice, usually the older ones that are used to making their nests, have adapted to this new bedding well and made some really nice and intricate nests (Pictures below). The younger mice struggle a little bit more and instead of making nests some of them just use it as a hiding place and sit underneath. This can make it more difficult to see them when they are small. I’m currently seeing if I can aid their next building by scrunching the paper up a bit more to see if this helps.

The bedding is also really easy to store and you can provide a set amount to each cage which is ideal.

I think its definitely worth getting some more of this nesting. I can then provide this to all the mice in my area and see how I get on before rolling it out to other areas?
